Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy,
our life, our sweetness and our hope,
to thee do we cry,
poor banished children of Eve;
to thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this vale of tears;
turn, then most gracious Avocate,
thine eyes of mercy towards us,
and after this, our exile,
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!
Pray for us, O holy Mother of God,
that we may be made worthy of
the promies of Christ.

"The Father will give you an advocate-the truth.."
The Spirit isn't going anywhere, at least until the end of time. Aslong as there is Church, there will be Spirit. We can count on that. What we can't count on is that people will act on it. We humans are notorious for not listening or not being responsive to what we do hear.
Because the Spirit is not visible, we need tangible signs to now when we're getting the message right. We read those signs in our own lives, and St. Paul gave us a reliable list to consider. A life responsive to the Spirit's movements will enjoy these fruits in abundance: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. If you life looks like this, then you're moving with the Spirit, hooray! If this list does not reflect how your friends describe you, then it's time to start paying closer attention.
